Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 6, 2026
This policy explains what personal information FaraErtebat AI Corp (“FEC.AI”, “we”, “us”), based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, collects when you use our website at fec.ai and our products — including QA Intelligence at qa.fec.ai — what we do with it, and the choices you have. If you have a question, write to hello@fec.ai.
What we collect
When you create an account or sign in
- Your email address, and — if you sign in with Google — the name and profile picture Google shares with us. We ask Google only for your basic profile and email address.
- If you sign up with an email address, a password, which our authentication provider stores only in hashed form; we never see it.
- When you sign in and how (password, email link or code, Google), and when you were last active.
When you use QA Intelligence
- The addresses of the sites you ask us to test, the names you give your projects, and how you proved you own a site.
- What our tests observe on those sites: the checks performed, the problems found, and evidence such as screenshots and page snapshots of the pages tested.
- Your decisions about findings, your test profiles, and your support requests and their replies.
- If you connect GitHub: the GitHub account or organization you installed our app on and the repositories you allowed it to read. We read code only to locate a reported problem or to build a branch you asked us to test, and we write to a repository only when you ask us to open a draft pull request.
- If you run a code test: your code is built and run in an isolated test environment for that test only and is deleted when the test ends. Environment values you give us for building are stored encrypted.
When you pay
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number. We keep what we need to run your account: your plan, passes and credit balance, and the status, amount and receipt of each payment.
Automatically
- Cookies that keep you signed in and protect your session. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
- Your language and theme choices, kept in your own browser.
- Technical records such as IP address, browser type and request logs, used for security, abuse prevention and fixing problems.
How we use it
- To provide the service: sign you in, run the tests you ask for, show you results and their history, and keep your workspace working.
- To analyse test results with AI models, so findings come with explanations and suggested fixes.
- To bill you and keep records we are required to keep.
- To answer support requests, and to tell you about important changes to the service or your account.
- To keep the service secure and prevent misuse.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Google user data
When you sign in with Google, we receive only your email address and basic profile (name and picture), and use them only to create and identify your account. We do not request access to your Gmail, contacts, files or any other Google data. QA Intelligence’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We never use Google user data to train AI models, never sell it, and never use it for advertising.
AI processing
Test results — for example the text of a tested page and the problems found on it — may be sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) through its commercial API to produce analysis. Under those terms the content is not used to train their models. We do not use your data to train AI models either.
Who we share it with
Only with service providers that run parts of our service for us, under agreements that limit their use of it:
- Vercel — hosting of our websites and applications.
- Supabase — database and sign-in.
- Google — sign-in, if you choose it.
- Stripe — payments.
- Anthropic — AI analysis of test results.
- DigitalOcean — the servers that run test browsers and code tests.
- GitHub — only if you connect it, and only for the repositories you allow.
- Our email delivery provider — to send sign-in and account emails.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users and of FEC.AI.
Where it is stored
Our service providers store and process data mainly in the United States. By using our services you understand that your information may be processed outside Canada, where it may be accessible to authorities under local law.
How long we keep it
- Account and workspace data, test results and evidence: for as long as your account exists, unless you delete them sooner.
- Code built for a code test: deleted when that test ends.
- Payment records: as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Security logs: for a limited period, then deleted.
When you ask us to delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal information, except what we must keep by law.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, or withdraw consent, by writing to hello@fec.ai. We answer within 30 days. You can disconnect GitHub at any time from your GitHub settings, and remove our access to your Google account from your Google account settings. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.
Security
We protect information with encryption in transit, encrypted storage of secrets, access limited to the people who need it, and isolated environments for running customer code. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we will tell you as the law requires.
Children
Our services are for businesses and are not directed at anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new date, and tell account holders by email or in the product before significant changes take effect.
